Not many phots here right now (T_T)...but never mind, some is better than none. I'm a big cat fan,
and so wanted to have a little something about cats on my website. These are some pictures
of cats that I've had the pleasure of knowing in the past!
Introducing The Cats:
Cookie: The first of our cats, and the only one we had as a kitten. She is seen here in her happy, pre-Marmy "kittenish" days... She never real grew out
of her kittenish skattiness, and the arrival of Marmalade didn't exactly calm her traumatized personality! Lost her life to next door neighbour's dog.
Marmy: The second of our 5 cats. He started off as not being ours, then he took a liking to our garden, making a "nest" under the trees at the back.
Eventually he just invited himself in, and never left! This didn't go down to well with our other cat at the time, Cookie...squables a plenty there! Here he is
relaxing after eating too much Christmas turkey... Was put to sleep at the vets having reached a mighty fine age of...don't know, but it was quite old!
Basil: Was only with us a very short ammount of time, before he was hit by a car on Blackfen Road. A real friendly one, quite partial to the occasional
belly tickle! Other notable features were his big broad head, and dinner jacket style fur markings! Very friendly with people, although not afraid of a scrap with
other cats. Once came home covered in white fur (apparently from another cat), and with a claw stropping protuding from his nose!
Ben: Entered the family at the same time as Chloe. A real bizarre personality, perhaps just slightly derranged! A big stocky food gobbling machine,
but a charming character nonetheless! Sometimes it was hard to tell if he was really stupid, or actually really smart in pretending to be...hmmmm. Was lost
to the ever dangerous Blackfen Road traffic...
Chloe: The most recent of our cats, along with Ben. A real sweet, friendly mog, although had an unfortunate tendancy to kill almost every other
animal in the area that was smaller than her. This picture was taken with her doing the sitting on someones back trick, that someone being me! Alas, her fate
was the same as Ben's...
"Mrs Grey": Not actually one of ours, but she came into the garden in search of a good fuss often enough that she qualifies for entry into this page!
She managed to venture into the house from time to time too... A very affectionate, attention seeking cat! Loved rolling around on the patio...

Whereas Marmy had a liking for the old beanbag...
The warmth of the fire brings an uneasy truce between Cookie and Marmy. Note Marmy secures the prime spot...
Despite the occasional squable, Chloe and Ben got on a lot better!
